Nectário, Group Show with works by Ânia Pais, Catarina Neves Ricci, Liivia Sirola, Mafalda Matos, Maria Saunders, Maria Sassetti e Margarida Lopes Pereira / curated by Catarina Neves Ricci

NÉCTÁRIO: epidermis of the petal, around the ovary, in the center of the flower, cavity filled with nectar. Nectário serves as a cradle for feminine and hybrid beings, where symbolism, non-taboo, and human-animal metamorphosis coexist. It is a space of gesture and shaped by the body’s presence. The transdisciplinary project incorporates platforms such as photography, installation, sculpture, and painting. It invites the public to explore remote habitats, liminal spaces, to delve into plants, materials, and to reconsider failure concepts in creation. Nectário offers multiple rituals to connect with our inner worlds. Just as nature holds its mysteries, so too does the human body: things blossom, and things transform. Nectário aims to reclaim the power of fantasy, the right to imagination and color, and the exploration of the unconscious.
