ABEL MOTA

ABEL MOTA (Portugal, 1999) is a painter and visual artist who works in Porto. He attended the painting course at the Faculty of Fine Arts of University of Porto and Tim Eitel’s studio at École Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-arts in Paris, standing out in the first year with the Incentive Prize/Merit Prize. Since 2017 he participated in several artistic residencies, group and solo shows, in Portugal and abroad. Highlights include exhibitions at the Soares dos Reis National Museum; Meng Tak Building Gallery, China; XXI Cerveira International Art Biennial. In 2021 he won the Millennium BCP Foundation AJ prize.

EDUARDO ANTONIO

EDUARDO ANTONIO (Brazil, 1991) His academic training began in cinema, in Brazil, followed by a master’s degree in Painting at the Faculty of Fine Arts in Lisbon. As a painter, Eduardo has regularly participated in group exhibitions since 2019, both in Brazil and Portugal, including: ‘Nunca se está sozinho’, Galeria 111, Lisbon, Portugal (2024); ‘Além-Mar: Quando a Linha do Horizonte Não Basta’, Fundação Cultural Badesc, in Florianópolis, Brazil (2024); ‘Jov’Arte Bienal Jovem’, Galeria Municipal Vieira da Silva, Lisbon, Portugal (2023); ‘But Dearer Still is Truth’, Galeria Plato, Évora, Portugal (2023).
